Suitcase Fusion Not Launching

So I run the exe (tried admin mode) and my cursor changes to loading for a few seconds before going back to normal but nothing happens in the end.

It’s nowhere to be seen, FMCore.exe is running (it’s even on startup I think) but Suitcase Fusion won’t open.

Running Windows 7, any help is appreciated.

Hi,

The following should address the problem for you:

Suitcase Fusion 5 requires the “Bonjour Service” in order for the Suitcase Fusion 5 window (FontManagementUI.exe) to launch correctly.
Otherwise, only FMCore.exe will launch (visible in Task Manager > Processes) and the user won’t be able to launch the interface.
Solution:

  1. Remove:
    C:\Program Files\Bonjour
    or
    C:\Program Files(x86)\Bonjour (on a 64 bit machine)
  2. Install the latest version of Bonjour from Apple: support.apple.com/kb/DL999
  3. Restart the machine
  4. Open Task Manager, choose the Services tab and confirm the Bonjour Service is started
  5. Open SF5

Oh, my fault, I never thought Bonjour was used for anything other than some Apple stuff so I disabled it.
