Problems with server.np and the [find] command

#1

Hey all, just looking for some feedback/help on this issue I’m coming across from an inherited system.

I have the following directory structure physically on the Portfolio Server.

models
|
|-- blonde
| |
| |-- Majorie_Levesque
| | |
| | |-- Big Curl April 2017
| | | |— [images]
| | |
| | |-- Curl April 2017
| | | |— [images]

… and it’s running this command to try and return “Curl April 2017” images.

server.np?find&field=Directory Path&value=Blonde&op=contains&field=Directory Path&value=Marjorie_Levesque&op=contains&field=Directory Path&value=Curl April 2017&op=contains&join=and&field=Directory Path&value=contact sheets&op=does not contain&join=and&sorton=Filename&offset=0&site=[mySite]&catalog=[myCatalog]&template=xml_results_paginated.np

Unfortunately it’s returning “Big Curl April 2017” as well! This I can totally understand because of the operator “contains”. Big Curl April 2017 contains Curl April 2017 so it will return those results as well.

The question. How do I get JUST Curl April 2017. I tried modifying the operator to “matches”, (as noted on page 113 of the documentation: doc.extensis.com/Portfolio-Serve … -Guide.pdf) but then I get zero results!?

Is there something obvious I’m missing? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
