Portfolio API - GettingStarted Throwing Exceptions [SOLVED]

#1

I’ve just started looking into the API for Portfolio, and following along with the GettingStarted guide (http://doc.extensis.com/api/portfolio/GettingStarted.html), I get an exception on the getAssetService method. The exception is as follows:

Exception in thread "main" javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: Method getAutomationScripts is exposed as WebMethod, but there is no corresponding wsdl operation with name {http://portfolio.extensis/service/asset}getAutomationScripts in the wsdl:portType{http://portfolio.extensis/service/asset}AssetSEI

I’m new to this entire system, and I’m wondering what it is that’s causing this and how to resolve it?

Thanks.

I found the solution in this thread:

I hadn’t done wsimport. I ran the wsimport command against my server’s IP, then added the newly modified JAR as a dependency in my project.
