FontMaskCache is damaged

Since updating to Suitcase Fusion 8 and Adobe CC 2018 I have been getting the message ‘Cannot add data to “FontMaskCache”. The file “FontMaskCache” is damaged (Error code: 2)’ when fonts are auto-activated in InDesign. I have posted this on the Adobe forums and it has been suggested that as it’s a font related issue, to post on here.

Does anyone know what this means, or how to fix it?

Sounds like it is possibly a font cache issue. If using Suitcase on the Mac, you can simply select clear cache from the Suitcase drop-down menu.
