At the moment I have disabled the plugin for Photoshop.

Does anyone know how I could sort this problem out?

Many thanks

Hi,

The following steps should take care of the issue:

  1. In Suitcase, go to Edit -> Preferences

  2. Switch to the Type Core tab and click on ‘Stop Type Core…’

  3. Confirm that you want to continue by clicking on ‘Stop Type Core’ button in the message that pops up

  4. Remove:
    [64 bit] = C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit)\Plug-ins\Automate\ExtensisFontManagementPSCCx64.8li
    [32 bit] = C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC\Plug-ins\Automate\ExtensisFontManagementPSCC.8li

  5. Launch Suitcase

  6. Launch Photoshop

If the error message is gone, then:

  1. Quit Photoshop
  2. Launch Suitcase
  3. Choose Tools > Manage Plugins and check the Photoshop CC box to reinstall the plugin
  4. Launch Photoshop

Thank you Romeo Fahl very much, at the moment Photoshop CC seems to be behaving itself (I did have more error since doing what you recommended, but apart from that I have had no more problems).

Thanks again

I’m having this same issue, but with Indesign and Illustrator as well. I tried this fix for Photoshop and it worked.

However, I tried what I assumed to be the corresponding fix for Indesign and Illustrator, but neither worked.

Any suggestions?
