BEWARE: 18.2.4 (1517) update will render your Mac Mail fonts unreadable

#1

I just updated to 18.2.4 (1517) and now suddenly my Mac Mail fonts are all boxes with question marks again after almost 2 weeks of the problem being solved.

Don’t tell me to read the literature because Extensis literature is NOT up to date. It doesn’t address anything in Sierra.

I did everything it says. I don’t run ANY type 1 fonts and I still have the problem.

I’m very seriously considering switching to another software because it’s clear there’s very little support for Macs from Extensis.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your Mail application and Suitcase.

We have assisted many of our Customers updating from various versions of Suitcase Fusion to the latest version and have not had these types of issues.

Typically, if fonts are showing up in your OS with the question mark [?], then the macOS is telling you that a particular font (possibly specific to Mac Mail) is missing from your System Folder and is not active.

We would be happy to assist your with any of your concerns you may have with our products. Please contact our Customer Service or Technical Support Team: https://www.extensis.com/company/contact-us/

Another quick thing to try is to clear your Font Cache. Use Suitcase Fusion to clear the cache and see if that resolves your issue. For more information use the following link:
